Restaurant du Quai

Think of the most picturesque view ever and now times that by 10 and you'll get le Restaurant du Quai. If you're willing to go for a bit of a trek until Hermance, you're in for a treat. I love coming here on a sunny afternoon and have one of their delicious artisanal ice-creams and just drinking in the beautiful view and fresh air. Bonus - there are always a bunch of cute doggies being walked and who doesn't love cute doggies.

Inda-Bar

Inda-Bar is quite a unique spot for Geneva as they serve fusion cuisine from their very centrally located little restaurant in Eaux-Vives. Not all their dishes are quite as tasty as what the original dish would be like but they have some great options for a night of surprises. I reccomend their 65-spices fried chicken along with their cheese naan which is made from gruyere and mozzarella! A great place to grab drinks too so make sure to check out their extensive cocktails menu.

Au Petit Délice

This little Italian caterer serves up dreams for next to nothing. Bruno, the owner, is truly passionate about what he serves and always makes sure it is up to standard. They usually have about three specials each day for 12 or 13CHF, the portions are generous, the pasta is delightful, and the sauces are rich. Get a hefty dose of parmesan sprinkled onto your dish for even more heavenly touch.

Le Petit Lac

For those willing to venture slightly outside of the city center, a treasure awaits. On the terrace of Le Petit Lac, you'll be treated both visually and gastronomically as the restaurant proposes an array of continental dishes. The calm vibe of the Corsier area is clearly felt in this little lakeside spot, a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the wonders of nature.

Most people have quaint expectations of Geneva: a cute Swiss city by the water, manicured streets, and posh, well-dressed people. It truly is all of those things, but there’s also a side to Geneva many don't realize exists. First of all, Geneva is an amazing hub for food. Genevois love to eat but also expect the ingredients to be of the best quality. There’s also a lot of rich history embedded in the soul of the city – just a quick walk around the Old Town will prove to be a very culturally enriching adventure if you care to look closely enough.

I have always strived for a career that had a balance of logic and creativity - marketing was the perfect mix of the two. This is why after completing a Bachelor's degree in business, I followed it with a Masters in marketing communications. Studying and working in marketing has also given me the tools to showcase to the world my other passion, fashion and travel. Through my Instagram account, I love creating images that bring together style, aesthetics, scenery and a little bit of sass in the captions.
