Sala Equis

This multispace dedicated to cinema, culture and leisure is one of the most special places that Madrid has. It is in a historic building in the center of the city, where the last porn movie theater was, and now it has been transformed into a large space dedicated to leisure, which bets on film culture, through thematic cycles. All this seasoned with a casual gastronomic offer in the Sala Plaza, decorated with greenery and crowned by a large skylight that lets in natural light, and that has a large projection screen. My favorite place is the Cinema Hall, composed of 55 red velvet armchairs and dedicated exclusively to the specific scheduled film cycles. The perfect place to surprise anyone.

Mision Café

From the creators of Hola Coffee, this place on Calle de los Reyes follows in the wake of its older brother, both in design and quality. Cozy and minimalist, this cafe serves one of the best specialty coffees in the city thanks in part to its modular coffee maker, unique in the city. Their expert and friendly service makes you feel at home and they offer a menu with delicious dishes. From toasts and sandwiches with vegan options, porridge or homemade pastry, as well as the dish of the day, which changes daily. Its filter coffee is exceptional and its service makes you feel at home.

Celoso y Manolo

This local "tasca" is located in the Chueca neighborhood, and its name is a tribute to its former owners, Celso and Manolo. From its large eight-meter-long marble bar, standing since the 1950s, artisan vermouths with traditional-cut tapas and rations are served. Its menu is made with high quality organic products, complete with a wide variety of wines and cocktails. It is always full of both tourists and locals, who love their tomato ribeye, their rabas or any of their delicious homemade dishes. A must!

There are many prejudices in general about everything. In the case of Spain or specifically about Madrid, people believe that gustaría takes us two hours to eat, that we always take a nap and that we are always partying. And it is not like that at all. It is true that Spaniards are very open to everyone, and that good weather makes us outgoing and cheerful. Regarding the nap, we leave it for the weekend, if it's possible, or for holidays. We work many hours...

Since childhood I have been a very creative person. I always remember myself reading, writing, making collages and being a very restless girl. At university I studied Advertising, Public Relations and Business Communication, and then I always combined my work in Multinationals as the head of Marketing and Communication with my work as a journalist for different media such as El País, TimeOut, Le Cool, NEO2, Tapas, etc...
