Fulton Market

Hip, thriving, and smothered with some of the best restaurants in the City. My favorite place to chill and have a drink is the Hoxton. The interior of this boutique hotel is breathtaking. The options you have to explore are just perfect, from Cira a modern Mediterranean restaurant that serves, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an amazing weekend brunch. Cabra a beautiful Peruvian rooftop restaurant with great cocktails, and the Lazy Bird a chill and cozy space with great music and an incredible vibe for you and your significant other or a small group of friends.

Au Cheval

Greatest hamburger on the planet… PERIOD Everything on the menu is perfect. My wife and I get it often to see if one day it will fail us and it hasn’t and I doubt it will ever be bad if it’s at the restaurant or takeout.

Notre

(temporarily closed) :( but hands-down the best retail shopping experience you will ever have that is curated flawlessly. The entryway up the brick miss-layered stairs leads you into an art gallery fashion experience. Try them out online where you will feel this experience almost as if you were inside the space.

All Together Now

If you love natural wine, this spot is for you! I am not a wine snob by all means, but I know I love the selection here at All Together Now. The service is just as great, and the staff is always willing to educate you on whatever there is to know.

As a born midwestern, I feel privileged to live in Chicago, IL. I can’t lie and say that I don’t miss living in California (Oakland) considering I never saw that happening, but being back in the midwest is a breath of fresh air. The spirit of Chicago is very rich, from the people, food, and hundreds of neighborhoods spread out, I almost feel it’s going to take a lifetime to touch every piece of the city. What I love most about Chicago is driving Lake Shore Drive, it’s basically free therapy for the mind and soul and there is nothing like Summertime Chicago.
